Las Vegas Quinceanera | Grace

I had the pleasure of meeting Grace’s family thru one of my October brides. Being referred to a friend or family member by one of my previous or soon-to-be clients is always such an honor. I met with Grace’s mom and immediately felt like family. During the consultation Grace’s mom expressed how important this event was to their family as well as Grace.

A quinceanera is a latin tradition of 15 year old girl coming-of-age celebration. A quinceranera starts off with a Mass of Thankfulness. The mass is an occasion where the community gives blessing to the young girl. During the service the quinceranera is escorted to the front to a seat of honor near the alter. At the end of the mass the quinceanera is escort out of the church reaffirming her transition into adulthood. Afterwards there is a reception held in celebration which maybe held at the church, the home of the quinceanera or at a venue. There are old and new traditions but regardless of how it is celebrated it’s a wonderful latin tradition to carry on for generations to come.

Please enjoy some highlights of the quinceanera. My favorite image is of Grace’s little brother with his hand on hers. It portrays the beautiful relationship they share together. May we all have that kind of love in our lives.

Thank you Grace’s family for the opportunity to be a part of your daughter’s special day.

prosperity, peace and love,

Denise
